What a week! It seems to have been so busy and gone by in lightening speed. It has been an exciting week with regard to work prospects and a bit of a lazy week in the kitchen for a change.
Here is my week in pictures...
Saturday 14th May 2016
Saturday was just a regular sort of Saturday. I took little I to ballet in the morning then just pottered around at home. I did make this delicious gluten free cake which will be part of a review post that will be written next week.
Sunday 15th May 2016
On Sunday I took a bit of a leap of faith which I have surprised myself with. I decided to join the Jamberry team. I am now an independent consultant! I fell in love with the product after trying them so decided to go into business selling them. I am awful at painting my nails so I love being able to have beautiful nails all the time! I have even started a second blog about my journey and to tell everyone about the product!
Monday 16th May 2016
Monday did not start well. The kids were arguing, there was screaming at crying at each other. Needless to say that put me in a bad mood! When it came to dinner time all I wanted to do was sit and relax once the kids were in bed and enjoy a meal with the hubby watching Game of Thrones. Thankfully I had been sent a selection of meals from Charlie Bigham's to try!
Tuesday 17th May 2016
Confession time, I LOVE gin! So you will understand why this delivery of a new gin from the Isle of Harris Distillery made my day. As soon as the hubby saw that it was available he bought one for me. Tuesday was also my mother in laws birthday so we took her out for a meal.
Wednesday 18th May 2016
On Wednesday I simply did not stop. In the morning I was writing blog posts and in the afternoon I was preparing for my online launch party for my Jamberry business. I was delighted to have some orders placed and enjoyed the party.
Thursday 19th May 2016
Thursday was all about my #PowerofFrozen post for Iceland. I started the day planning and shopping then the afternoon was taken up cooking and taking photographs. I made Beef and Bean Cabbage Parcels for my convenience meal!
Friday 20th May 2016
I was very excited when my starter kit arrived from Jamberry on Friday. I am now prepared with everything that I need!
Next week will be just as busy as we go on holiday on Friday. I know that it will mean some late nights getting posts written and scheduled as well as everything ready!
Hope you have a good week x
As always I am sharing my week in pictures with...
It's lovely getting things through the post. My hubby tells me that food brand is very expensive. #HappyDaysLinky
ReplyDeleteThey are expensive but they are handmade meals but they are really yummy! x
DeleteOhh! Your nails are so pretty! Good luck with selling them!
ReplyDeleteThe Charlie Bigham meal looks very tasty!
Have a lovely week!

DeleteOMG Your nails!!!! So so so so pretty. I feel hungry after seeing the pictures on your blog now, off to raid the fridge! That gin looks beautiful! I hope it went down well ;) Have a lovely week xx #HappyDaysLinky
ReplyDeleteThank you, I have gone a bit nail mad! They last for two weeks but as there are so many designs I have been changing after a week, just because I can. Hope you have a lovely week too x
DeleteI love the flowery nails, nail varnish never ever stays on me it just chips in hours so this may be worth me trying, and I had had a whirlwind week too, I actually don't know where its gone, have a fab week and catch up next week x
ReplyDeleteI am loving having pretty nails, I just do not have the time for varnish as it takes ages to dry then chips! Hope you have a good week x
DeleteThe cake looks lush, and the cabbage beef parcels are mouth-watering. Not a fan of gin here, I'm afraid. We have tried a few of Charlie Bingham dishes, whenever they are on offer, and found them hit and miss. Breton chicken is nice, and Moroccan too.
ReplyDeleteWe really enjoyed the meals that we tried, but I will admit to not buying ready meals often. The cabbage parcels were good too! x
DeleteThat gin looks lush. And so do those nails. I've seen Jamberry mentioned before on Instagram and they always look super cute. Good luck with it!
ReplyDeleteOh the gin is most certainly lush! I love it! x
DeleteI love your nails - I am hopeless at doing mine. I do fancy a glass of that gin now
ReplyDeleteThe gin is so good! I already have my nails planned for the holiday as they do a design called Carnival! x
DeleteAhhhh exciting times, all the beast with your new venture!! Your nails look fab in Tuesday's picture. Also, I've tied those Charlie Bingham's pies - they're so good!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great holiday xx

ReplyDeleteGood luck with the new business, will be nice to make some money doing something you enjoy.
ReplyDeleteLots of yummy food pictures this week, well done on getting selected to work with the companies. My little blog does not seem to appeal to many companies at the moment, but it is till serving the purpose for which it was started, to leave behind memories.
Hi Kirsty, the Jamberry nail wraps look lovely, and I bet are so much easier to apply than nail polish. I am sure your new venture will be a big success!
ReplyDeleteI have never managed to write more than one blog post in a day and admire others who can. It's as if I put everything into the first one and run out of oomph for any others. I really should practice!
xx
Good luck with Jamberry! Your nails do look lovely. Love the look of that gin, yum!
ReplyDeleteI am ashamed to say I have bitten my nails - for the first time in about a year! So annoyed at myself but now can't stop. Your nails look awesome, well done you for being brave and starting up a business from it! Thank you for joining in our #HappyDaysLinky x
