This weeks pictures are a stark contrast to last weeks flowers and colour.
This week we have seen a hard frost which the flowers did not like but it gave the garden a lovely wintery look. So bright and early I went out with my camera and took some frosty pictures.
Since the one frost it has warmed up a little bit so hopefully the flowers will keep going strong.
Here is how our frosty garden has grown this week...
As always I am sharing with the lovely Annie from Mammasaurus - How Does Your Garden Grow?.
The firot did make everything look rather lovely didn't it. My two enjoyed scrunching through the frosty grass on their way to school that morning too :)
ReplyDeleteIt does look lovely when everything is all white x
DeleteWe've not had much in the way of frost yet.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, that spiders web is very impressive
I do love seeing everything all white, very festive x
DeleteBrrrrr! Great photos. I didn't take any of the first proper frost of the year. Our back garden is quite sheltered so we don't really get any - I have to go out and find it :)
ReplyDeleteWe always get the frost as we're wide open to it. It was a very cold morning x
DeleteLovely frosty shots! I missed taking any too, although it hasn't been too bad here thankfully.
ReplyDeleteWhile the twins were sat having breakfast I sneaked out :-) x
DeleteGorgeous frosty shots, I always think frost looks so pretty and delicate. We seem to have gone straight to snow... :)
ReplyDeleteI do love the snow too :-) x
DeleteLove that first frosty shot and the grass - we've not had frosts, just fog and mist!
ReplyDeleteThank you :-) frost always looks so pretty x
DeleteWhat gorgeous photos. You captured the frost so well (I love spider web pictures - not spiders though - eek!)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
xoxo
I too love seeing spiders webs but hate spiders! Hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving day x
DeleteI am kicking myself for not getting outdoors earlier this week during our one day of frost now, these are lovely Kirsty!
ReplyDeleteFrosty spiders webs rule, I can never grow tired of them x
Here's to toasty toes and warm hands and a chilly nose!
Thanks for joining in again lovely x
There really was something quite relaxing capturing the frosty shots followed by a hot drink x
DeleteI loved the morning frost on Monday. These are beautiful pics :)
ReplyDeleteThank you x
DeleteI saw that the UK had frost this last week - we are still so mild here. We did have 2 frosts a couple of weeks ago but since then it has been amazingly mild. We're going to feel the cold when it does arrive!
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed it doesn't get too bad. I do worry that we may have a bad winter after this mild spell we're having x
Deletenow i do love a frosty picture they are really pretty and i love how everything for a short time changes
ReplyDeleteIt has a magical look to it doesn't it x
