You may remember that recently I have been talking about how to save money. Sometimes spending money can also have huge benefits. One benefit is increasing your property value. This is a great way to make a long term investment. So when I was asked if I would share a great infographic with you I thought it would be a great idea. I love all of these tips so thought that you would to!
Here are the top interior design trend for 2016 and how you can increase the value of your property...
Your home is your castle.
It is the place you spend
time, money and effort making it look and feel like yours. You want
it to look modern, with your own twists and flair.
We live in a digitised
age which means more and more interior design schemes include the
gadgets and the digital technology as being integral to it. Colours
are everywhere, can set the mood for a room and for you too.
And then there are other
pressures and responsibilities, all of which you must rise to. For
example, responsibility to the environment, both on a local and
global scale, is no longer something we can all
duck out of. We need
to heat and light our homes without damaging the planet we live on.
And then, you want to add
value. No change you make to your home should detract from its
aesthetic value and appeal; neither should it diminish its financial
value.
How to add value and
comfort to your home
From fixing leaky taps to
making sure the interior is in tip-top condition, there are all kinds
of things you can do to add value to your home – and all without
ripping its soul out and starting again.
Minimal interior designs,
you may think, only exist in the pages of glossy magazines or in the
homes of celebrities but your home too, can be minimal and still be
homely.
From
replacing a staircase with a piece of interior architectural beauty,
to adding a conservatory or a new kitchen, your home can be an even
better, more stylish and much-improved castle.
I hope that this post has given you lots of ideas on how you can improve your property.
