6th September - 12th September 2015 - One Picture Everyday For One Year

The children have now completed their first full week back at school. It has been lovely to feel like I am getting on top of all my jobs that I got behind with over the summer. But I have noticed a difference in the twins. They really do thrive on routine and are so pleased to be back at school.

This week has seen busy mornings, an extra day with the hubby at home, autumnal mornings and the return of the good weather!

Here is our week in pictures...

23rd August - 29th August 2015 - One Picture Everyday For One Year - Guest Hosting #TWTWC

This week I am honoured to be hosting The Week That Was Captured for the lovely Hannah from Make Do and Push while she is away.

This week has seen the hubby return to work after having him at home for 9 days and the countdown to school returning has begun! I have to admit that I cannot wait for school to return and the children are well and truly ready for the routine. We have had lovely sunny days as well as autumnal days as for the weekend we are keeping our fingers crossed for a lovely bank holiday weekend!

Here is our week in pictures...

Sunday 23rd August 2015

I have recently discovered how relaxing I find crochet. This is becoming my sanity saver. If I am stressed of anxious or simply need to relax away from the internet and technology I start to crochet. I am part way through a very special gift for someone!

Monday 24th August 2015

Life with the twins can be a roller coaster. They have moments when they are each others best friends and so loving to each other then they are worst enemies and fighting each other. It is the loving moments that make it all worth it. This picture was taken while they were watching a film. Taylor had his head on Isabella's lap and she was playing with his hair and stroking his head.

Tuesday 25th August 2015

Tuesday was injection day for the twins. I will admit to worrying about it. But I am delighted to say that I really did not need to. We were so proud of them both. Before we went on holiday the twins came with me to the vets when I took Dotty for her booster and I had told them why we have injections in preparation for theirs. On the way to the doctors they were even quite excited as I told them that Dr Ranj and Doc McStuffins give injections and we all need them so that we do not get poorly. When we went in to see the nurse she was brilliant with them. As they were about to have it I popped a little piece of chocolate in their mouths and we had no problems! They did fantastic, even the nurse was amazed by how well they had done.

Wednesday 26th August 2015

This is definitely one of my most favourite pictures of Isabella. It was taken when we took the dogs for a walk down the lane when hubby got home from work. As always Dotty the cat walked all the way with us. Isabella stopped and said to me "Mummy take a picture of me with Dotty!" and this was the picture. I love it!

Thursday 27th August 2015

The twins really are ready to return to nursery. Last Sunday Isabella put on her uniform in the morning and on Thursday it was Taylor's turn to want his uniform on. Everyday they have been asking "is it time to go to school yet?". I just hope that they are still happy to go next week!

Friday 28th August 2015

Friday was the day that we could go and collect the new cars! Wow I absolutely adore the new family car! The hubby even traded in his beloved Volvo for a little run around for work so that we could get the new bigger car. I keep looking out the window at it, this is the first time I have had a brand new car!

Saturday 29th August 2015

On Saturday the twins and Joseph were out at a birthday party for 2 and a half hours. Therefore all of the pictures that I took were for my blog. This is a picture of a review and recipe that I looking forward to writing!

As I mentioned before, this week I am hosting #TWTWC for Hannah. If you want to check the rules you can see them all here. I look forward to reading about your The Week That Was Captured posts!

14th August - 22nd August - One Picture Everyday For One Year

Wow what a week!

You have probably noticed that on the social media front things have been very quiet. This is due to us going on holiday for a week and discovering that we have absolutely no signal in the village that we were in. We did get the odd signal while out and about but had a real break from everything online. I did miss it a lot but at the same time the break has done me good. Now that we are back I am raring to go again!

Last week I did a shorter round up of our week, therefore this week is is slightly longer.

Here is our holiday week in pictures...

2nd August - 8th August 2015 - One Picture Everyday For One Year

At last we have had a good week of weather! This week has been a more enjoyable and productive week simply because the sun has been shining.

This week has seen the twins playhouse decorated, park play time, lunch with daddy, a lot of baking and a barbecue!

Here is our week in pictures...

Sunday 2nd August 2015

Sunday was a lovely day. We spent a lot of the day out in the garden. Isabella has recently discovered the flowers that the hubby has grown for cutting. She regularly goes and picks some for me.

Monday 3rd August 2015

Monday was a baking day. The hubby has been asking me for weeks to bake some scones. I have found that with my depression I have lost my baking mojo so it did do me good to get a push to do something which, before, I loved. It was lovely baking and I realised that I have missed it. As always I am taking part in the Great Bloggers Bake Off and I hope that it reignites my passion for baking.

26th July - 1st August 2015 - One Picture Everyday For One Year

Wow I cannot believe that another month has been and gone!

This week has seen some sleepless nights followed by lazy mornings, walks with the dogs and puddle jumping and lots of playing with jigsaws!

Here is our week in pictures...

Sunday 26th July 2015

The latest thing with the twins is to take either toys or books with them when we go out. Or on this occasion both!

19th July 2015 - 25th July 2015 - One Picture Everyday For One Year

This week the children finished school for the summer holidays, the madness has begun!

It is lovely having lazy mornings with them at home but I am also realising how much I was getting done while they were at school in the mornings. I am hoping that we have lots of nice weather so that the children can get out, but next week is not looking good so I need to get thinking about some indoor activities.

Here is our week in pictures...

Sunday 19th July 2015

On Sunday we were in the garden and I realised that I have not taken any pictures of the puppies recently. This is mainly because they do not stay still long enough for me to get a picture. On Sunday I was taking some blog pictures in the garden and they were being nosey and were still, so I managed to get a picture. They are now 7 months and have grown so much!

Monday 20th July 2015

On Monday the hubby had the day off so after when the twins finished nursery we went to Costa for some lunch.

12th July - 18th July 2015 - One Picture Everyday For One Year

This week has been a week of acceptance. Acceptance that I needed to admit that things were not right with regard to my depression. I recently took a turn and went down again. However I finally admitted that I needed to talk and called the doctors. This has resulted in getting a rocket up my backside to exercise more and a temporary increase in my medication. It has now been a year since my diagnosis and I am realising that there is no quick fix. It is going to take time and will be a roller coaster of a ride to recovery.

Anyway back to my Project365. Here is our week in pictures...

Sunday 12th July 2015

On Sunday I had a baking morning and made some delicious biscuits from Sweetpea Pantry. As you can see from this picture the twins loved tucking in to them. You can read about them here.

Monday 13th July 2015

On Monday morning I enjoyed going for a long walk with the dogs. We tried a new walk that was great!

Tuesday 14th July 2015

This was the only picture that I took on Tuesday and it is of Taylor's lovely sleepy face. Bless him, he was fast asleep on me in the afternoon and I found myself just sitting and gazing at how peaceful he looked.

Wednesday 15th July 2015

Wednesday was the day that I finally admitted to myself that I wasn't right and had my telephone appointment with my doctor. On Wednesday I made this lovely roasted Mediterranean vegetable pasta and finished the day with a great work out!

Thursday 16th July 2015

On Thursday we went to the schools annual leavers service. Now that the twins are older they are sitting a lot better through the services. As they go to a church school there are quite a few each term. This time Isabella went prepared with colouring and Taylor took a book.

Friday 17th July 2015

On Friday I needed to take the hubby's car to get some new tyres. Thankfully there are shops and a Costa coffee shop around the corner. So after buying some yummy Marks and Spencers food I went armed with my iPad and chilled with a coffee and free wifi! When the kids are back at school in September I am going to make it a weekly treat!

Saturday 18th July 2015

On Saturday I had some time out with my mother in law at a mini spa. We enjoyed an hour together in the spa area then took it in turns to have treatments and have some alone time. It has really refreshed me!

Hope you have a lovely week x

5th July - 11th July 2015 - One Picture Everyday For One Year

This week we have had birthday celebrations, fresh strawberries, fun times with the twins, lots of cooking and cocktails!

This is our week in pictures...

Sunday 5th July 2015

Sunday was the hubby's birthday and we celebrated it by having a family day together. We decided early in the morning that we were going to take the children to the cinema to see the Minions Movie. It was the first time that we had taken the twins to the cinema and they loved it! After the movie we went to Frankie and Benny's for some lunch. In the evening we enjoyed a barbecue at my mum and dads. It really was a lovely day.

28th June - 5th July 2015 - One Picture Everyday For One Year

Another week is done! I cannot believe how fast the weeks are passing us by.

This week has been a hard week for me. On Wednesday it was a year since we lost my Nanna and I have felt the weight of the impending anniversary sitting heavily on my shoulders. Thankfully once Wednesday was over with I picked up again.

This week has been manic, everyday there has been something on or places that I have needed to go to. There has been a day off for the hubby, sports day for the children and a party at the weekend.

22nd June - 27th June 2015 - One Picture Everyday For One Year

Since last weekend I have been exhausted and it has certainly carried on through the week.

This week has seen Joseph go on his first residential school trip, the hubby and I go to York, and the twins being their usual manic selves!

I am changing my week in pictures slightly this week. From now on I will be sharing from Sunday to Saturday. However this week it is Monday to Saturday as I have already shared last Sunday's picture.

15th June - 21st June 2015 - One Picture Everyday For One Year

What a manic week! It has been so busy and has flown by!

This week has been an exciting week too. The week started off with my birthday. After my birthday the countdown to BritMums Live began. With all of the excitement there has also been a huge disappointment! The hubby and I were due to see the mighty Foo Fighters in Edinburgh next week. However after a fall, Dave Grohl broke his leg and cancelled the remaining tour dates! I was gutted to say the least. We then had the stress of trying to get some money back for the hotel room that we booked as non amendable/refundable! Thankfully the hotel was helpful and we were able to transfer the money paid onto my mother in laws stay later in the year!

Anyway this weekend will be busy with lots of pictures so I am posting this a day earlier than usual.

8th June - 14th June 2015 - One Picture Everyday For One Year

This week has seen us make a huge lifestyle change with regard to our diets. We both already eat a lot of gluten free foods like bread and crackers, the hubby's is due to an intolerance whereas mine is a lifestyle choice as I feel better not eating gluten (except for in cakes!). We have now decided to start clean eating. We are cutting out processed foods and even sugar. We have started to have smoothies and have even invested in a juicer. We have both noticed a big change in how we feel. So far so good!

The children have had a busy week at school and the twins have even been on their first trip! The puppies have both have their operations to be neutered. So they have been felling sorry for themselves.

25th May - 7th June 2015 - One Picture Everyday For A Year

What a busy couple of weeks! I didn't post my Project365 last week as we were away enjoying a lovely week away on holiday.

This week has been a struggle getting back into routine, but it always is after a holiday. But the summer weather has certainly helped!

While away I took so many pictures, I shared a lot of them  and wrote about our week in my holiday post but I will just share a quick round up of our pictures for my Project365.

Here is our two weeks in pictures...

I can tell that the children, particularly the twins, are ready for half term. This week has seen all of us become slower in the mornings.

This week has seen baking, running, injuries, outdoor fun and a little star!

Here is our week in pictures...

Monday 18th May 2015

These delicious Muesli and Chia Seed Breakfast Buns were the highlight of Monday's pictures. I baked them on Sunday for the hubby to take to work and they certainly were a great way to start the day!

11th May - 17th May 2015 - One Picture Everyday For One Year

This week has seen the children develop horrible colds and coughs. I can tell that it is nearly the end of the twins first half term. They are getting more tired but are still thoroughly enjoying nursery.

Here is our week in pictures...

Monday 11th May 2015

Monday was the first day that all three chickens have laid eggs since we added the two new birds to the flock. I can see I will be baking a lot to use the eggs!

4th May - 10th May 2015 - One Picture Everyday For One Year

This week has gone by even quicker than normal thanks to the lovely bank holiday Monday. It is always great to get an extra family day in the week!

This week has seen a return of the colder weather along with wind and rain so there has not been a lot of outdoor play but we have still managed to walk the school run which has bee
n lovely.

What a busy week!

The twins are still loving nursery and I am getting into a good routine in the mornings and am enjoying having some time to do what I need to get done.

20th April - 26th April 2015 - One Picture Everyday For One Year

This week has been my first full week with the mornings to myself while the twins have been in nursery. It has been lovely to not go far and get on top of my jobs at home. I have written more about my morning in my Word of the Week post.

It has been lovely to have some time for me in the morning and then spending quality time with the twins in the afternoon.

It has been another lovely week so there has been a lot of outdoor fun, walks with the dogs, harvesting rhubarb and puppy snuggles.

Bank holiday Monday was a glorious day. After a lovely roast lamb dinner we spent the afternoon in the garden enjoying the sun.
