Hopefully you have seen and entered the giveaway that I am hosting for Yumbox and Sweetpea Pantry. If you haven't seen the great prize that is available you can find all of the information here.
I previously told you how I got on with baking the Sweetpea Pantry Super Oat Flapjack. Today I am going to tell you about their delicious Chocolate Giggles,
These delicious little biscuits are full of wholegrain rye, barley, raw cacao and flaxseed.
This is what I did...
Sweetpea Pantry Chocolate Giggles
Ingredients
125g butter
4 tbsp honey
1 egg white
1 packet of Sweetpea Pantry Chocolate Giggles
Method
1 - Pre heat the oven to 180C (160C fan)
2 - Melt the butter and honey together
3 - Whisk the egg until frothy
4 - Combine the Sweetpea Pantry Chocolate Giggles mix with the butter and honey
5 - Stir in the egg whites until evenly combined
6 - Knead together with your hands for a few minutes and form a ball, leave to cool
7 - On a floured top roll out the mixture to a thickness of 3 - 5mm and cut into biscuit shapes
8 - Place on a lined baking tray, place in the centre of the preheated oven and bake for 8 - 10 minutes
Everybody loved these lovely little bites. It is great to know that they are full of goodness. So much better than shop bought biscuits! Plus they are so easy to make and a great way to get the kids involved in baking.
As with the other Sweetpea Products the Chocolate Giggles contain no GM ingredients, no refined sugars, high in fibre, suitable for vegetarians, contains wholegrain and are made in the UK.
Enjoy x
Disclosure: I was sent the Sweetpea Pantry mix for the purpose of this blog post. No cash payment has been received. All views and opinions are my own and 100% honest.
