New Years Eve Party Food with Aldi

On the run up to Christmas I gave you my top money saving tips in my #ThriftyChristmasThursday posts with Aldi. I gave you tips on how to save money on your meat, fish and vegetarian optionsvegetablesdesserts and sweet treats and drinks. Today I am going to tell you how you can save money when it comes to your New Years Eve party.

Aldi stock a wide variety of party food. From their everyday range to their Specially Selected range. There is going to be something to suit everyone. Party food is definitely the easy option as their range can all be cooked at the same temperature. Served alongside fresh salad, dips, coleslaw and pickles you can be sure to create a buffet that will not only please but will also impress.

Here are my top party food choices, as taste tested by my family...

I decided to highlight the following selections of Aldi's Specially Selected party food items...

12 Handmade Oriental Duck Premium Selection

This box contains 4 Crispy Hoisin Duck Balls, 4 Duck and Plum Moneybags tied with Pandan Leaf and 4 Hoisin Duck Spring Rolls with Sesame Seeds. We all love the delicious, rich flavours that duck has and this handmade selection will not disappoint. Each piece has its own authentic Chinese flavours and is made with top, quality ingredients.

12 Mini British Pies

If you love a good pie, then this is the selection for you. These hand held British classics may be small but they are full of flavour! The box contains 6 British Beef and Red Wine pies and 6 British Chicken, Beechwood Smoked Bacon and Leek pies. As with the other selections these pies are hand prepared. The base is a shortcrust pastry full of filling and topped with a light, golden puff pastry lid.

12 Prawn and Vegetable Premium Selection

This selection come with 4 tasty Thai varieties. 3 Delicate Pastry Cones with Sweet and Spicy Prawns and White Fish, 3 Crispy Pastry Prawn Parcels tied with Seaweed, 3 Crunchy Pastry Stars with Prawn and Red Chilli and 3 Delicate Pastry Cones with Sweetcorn, Vegetables and Coconut. These Oriental and Thai canapes will certainly keep your guests coming back for more!

The above are priced between £1.99 and £2.99 so this range really will not break the bank!

When it comes to sweet treats my favourite has to be the Specially Selected Tangy and Creamy Lemon and Mascarpone Cheesecake.

Aldi also have plenty of drinks to keep your guest celebrating throughout the night. They have a fantastic range of wine, spirits and fizz! Their Prosecco is a firm favourite here!

I hope that this post has given you a few ideas for how you can save some money this new years eve and have a fantastic party! If you need any further inspiration visit Aldi online.

Here is to a happy new year and here is to saving more money during 2016!

Cheers x
