Nudo Adopt Review

One of our most favourite Christmas treats has to be a traditional Italian Panettone. The sweetness of the festive dried fruit and citrus, encased in a buttery, light bread leaves you wanting more and more. So when I was asked if I would like to try Nudo Adopt's traditional Panettone I simply could not refuse!

Nudo Adopt are a group of small scale collaboration of artisanal producers. It started off with one family buying and restoring a 21 acre olive grove and grew from there. Nudo Adopt is a platform for micro-producers to bring their high quality produce to a wider market. Everyone has their own responsibilities for the olive grove, garden or field. Nudo Adopts give the farmers the link to the customer. Having this link in place helps to preserve the traditional farming methods, protects the countryside and keeps things how they have always been. No intensive or destructive farming methods that most modern farms endure, it keeps it as natural as possible. This retains the food natural taste.
This is something, as a family, we are passionate about. We like our foods to be as natural as possible and try to stay away from mass produced foods. So when I read about Nudo Adopts ethics I knew that it would be a company that would reflect the same passion. They too value simple, natural foods, dedicate the ingredients to 100% locally sourced, thus reducing the carbon footprint, all farmers are paid fairly and are completely open and transparent with their production.

As well as selling delicious olive products Nudo Adopt also run an adopt an olive tree scheme. Where you adopt your very own olive tree and receive your very own olive oil. This can be from 2 annual deliveries up to 4 deliveries. You can even select which grove you would like your tree to be in. Along with the annual olive oil deliveries you will also receive a 20% discount on all orders from Nudo Adopt.

If you like olive products then you will be spoiled for choice. They have an amazing Panettone, a wide variety of olive oils from extra virgin olive oil to infused oils, they sell essential oils from the groves and even herbal tea infusions.

The Panettone is priced at £20 and is well worth the money. It was such a rich, buttery bread that kept you wanting more. This is a panettone that I would thoroughly recommend!

Visit the Nudo Adopt shop to see what they stock and read more about the adopt scheme.

Disclosure: I was sent a variety of Nudo Adopt products for the purpose of this post. No cash payment was received. All words, views and opinions are my own and 100% honest.
