21st May - 26th May 2016 - One Picture Everyday For One Year

What a gorgeous week! It has been lovely to have the summer return. This week has seen us enjoy a lovely weekend with family and getting ready to enjoy the children's half term holiday.

Here is my week in pictures...

Saturday 21st May 2016

Saturday was a regular sort of day. Ballet in the morning and just spending time doing things around the house. Saturday was also World Whisky Day so it would have been rude to not have a wee dram!

Sunday 22nd May 2016

Sunday was a lovely day. The children took part in the village churches family service and they did great! Afterwards we went out for a lovely family meal with the hubby's family to celebrate my mother in laws birthday.

Monday 23rd May 2016

Monday was a busy day around the house, writing and cooking. While I was busy in the kitchen the twins were plating hide and seek in the garden and I simply had to capture this moment. Little I is counting while T hides!

Tuesday 24th May 2016

After watching Hemsley and Hemsley on Channel4 I could not wait to try their beef ragu with courgetti. It was a huge success. Courgetti will be added to more meals from now on.

Wednesday 25th May 2016

All of Wednesdays pictures were based around this lovely book that I received to review. You can read my post and recipe from the book here and enter the giveaway for your chance to win a copy!

Thursday 26th May 2016

Thursday was manic getting all the jobs that needed doing around the house and on the blog. The day flew by but the postman did make my day. My second Jamberry order arrived. They have now been sent to the people that ordered them and I cannot wait to hear how they get on.

That is my round up for the week. The next one will be a longer one. Hope you all have a good week.

  3. Hi Kirsty, it most certainly would have been rude not to partake in World Whisky Day! If only I had known. That photo of the children playing hide and seek is a classic, one to pull out on their eighteenth birthday for sure.

It sounds as if your Jamberry business is doing just fine, and hope it continues to grow.

  10. OOh I really want to try courgetti, we eat way too much pasta so this could be a great substitute. Have you also tried cauliflower rice? I love the hide and seek shot, it really made me giggle.

Thank you so much for linking up to #MyCapturedMoment, I hope you can join in again tomorrow xxx
