Eisberg Alcohol Free Wine

Now that summer has finally arrived, so has the urge to have picnics and barbecues! When having outdoor meals and parties it is great to accompany the meal with a cool glass of wine. However visitors will often need to drive and if you have gone out for a picnic it is not ideal to take a bottle wine and not all being able to enjoy it due to driving and watching the children.

This is where Eisberg comes in.

Eisberg are alcohol free wines. They come in four varieties, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Rose and Riesling.

I was sent a bottle of Eisberg Riesling Italico to try. This wine came at a perfect time for me. Not only is it the season for sitting outside and eating al fresco in the sunshine but we, as a family, have gone over to clean eating and reducing our alcohol intake. Eisberg really does taste like wine so it has been a lovely drink to enjoy. I have had the taste and pleasure of drinking wine without all of the calories that alcohol contains.

Eisberg make their wines in exactly the same way as traditional wine is made. Eisberg select their grapes from specific vineyards where they know that they are going to get the true taste of the grape even after the alcohol has been removed. Eisberg do this by using one of the worlds most advanced techniques of removing the alcohol. This technique ensures that as much of the original taste, character and flavours remain in the wine. The finished result is an alcohol free wine that contains less that 0.05% alcohol, a fantastic 34 calories per glass, Yes just 34 calories as opposed to 104 calories per alcoholic glass, and costing just £3.49! You are going to be better off health wise and money wise! Eisberg is also perfect for expectant mums who are missing a glass of wine, this is a fantastic alternative!

I am a huge wine fan! I love to have a good bottle of wine. However I was pleasantly surprised by how light, refreshing and enjoyable Eisberg non alcoholic wine is. I would love to try the other varieties that they have on offer. My weakness is having cheese and wine so it I am curious to know whether their Cabernet Sauvignon would be up to a cheese and wine night! If it is that would be a great way to make an unhealthy evening of foodie treats a little less guilt ridden!

Disclosure: I was sent a bottle of Eisberg Non Alcoholic wine for the purpose of this review. No cash payment was received. All views and opinions are my own and 100% honest.
